PROUDLY LOCAL | MADE ON A MANITOBA FARM
Farm roots. Hands-on care. Food for the companions we love.
Ostlund Falls Co. brings a Manitoba farming family's experience to pet food and treats. With products made and packaged on their farm, the brand offers a direct connection between the people raising ingredients and the food they create for dogs.
The family's story begins along the Whitemouth River, where farm life meant caring for animals, helping in the fields and spending time outdoors with pets. Making feed for livestock sparked an interest in nutrition and the importance of quality ingredients.
That farming tradition continues with the next generation. Ostlund Falls Co. grew from a wish to share some of that farm connection with people and pets whose everyday lives look very different from life in the country.
For Ostlund Falls Co., ingredient quality begins with the land. The family places importance on soil care and grows many of the ingredients used in its products. Where ingredients cannot come from their own farm, their aim is to use locally grown options from carefully selected producers whenever possible.
The team makes and packages its products itself, working in small batches and handling the food by hand. That hands-on approach is central to how the company manages its production and quality checks.
The wider range uses ingredients such as animal proteins, farm-fresh eggs, grains and vegetables. Recipes vary by product, giving you a chance to look closely at what goes into the food you choose for your dog.
Ostlund Falls Co.'s collection includes dry dog food alongside chicken meatball meals and treats. Check each product's feeding information to understand its intended use and choose an option suited to your companion.
At The Green Spot, we appreciate Manitoba suppliers who can tell us about the work behind their products. Ostlund Falls Co. brings that story back to the farm, from growing ingredients to producing and packaging the finished food.
We're grateful to give that local work a place on our shelves. Carrying this brand is a chance to introduce our customers to Manitoba makers and share a farming family's commitment to the animals in its care.
