Steve's Farm Fresh Pork brings an Oakburn-area farming story to The Green Spot's food selection. We're proud to carry a Manitoba brand that connects our customers with the people behind their food and the work that starts on the farm.
Steve's Farm Fresh Pork grew from Stephen and Vicki Yanyk's third-generation family farm near Oakburn, Manitoba. They diversified their operation to bring farm-raised pork directly to customers, building connections through farm-gate sales and local markets.
That history gives the brand a personal foundation. Sharing their products also meant sharing knowledge about the food they raised, helping customers make a connection between a meal and its source.
The business developed a range that included pork cuts such as bacon, chops and ribs, alongside sausages, smokies and wieners. Those offerings brought farm-raised pork into different parts of the day, from breakfast to the barbecue and family dinner.
The Oakburn connection is central to Steve's story. It's a local farming tradition we're pleased to introduce to our customers here in Brandon.
