Position Overview

Landscaping Labourers assist with spring cleanup, summer lawn maintenance, and fall cleanup services across residential, commercial, and institutional properties. This includes lawn care, garden bed maintenance, planting, and general outdoor labour.
This is a physically demanding, hands-on role that requires reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Strong performers may be considered for extended hours, future seasons, and potential transition into year-round work, including winter snow removal.

Duties & Responsibilities

• - Perform seasonal landscaping services including spring and fall cleanup, lawn care, and garden maintenance
• - Assist with mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, planting, and property upkeep
• - Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• - Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment
• - Maintain and clean tools and equipment before and after use
• - Identify and report hazards, property concerns, or equipment issues
• - Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• - Work efficiently as part of a crew to complete scheduled routes
• - Represent The Green Spot professionally on customer properties

Requirements

• - No experience required, but reliability and strong work ethic are essential
• - Ability to work well in a team environment
• - Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
• - Physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks
• - Ability to follow direction and complete tasks efficiently
• - Valid Class 5 driver’s license is a strong asset and may lead to increased responsibility and pay
• - Must provide appropriate outdoor work gear (boots, gloves, weather-appropriate clothing)
