Position Overview
We are hiring Seasonal Retail Staff to support our Fashion and Self Care Department during our peak spring season.
This is a part time, seasonal position May through early July, with the potential for limited hours beyond the season for strong performers.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy fashion, styling, and working directly with customers in a fast paced retail setting. You will play a key role in delivering an elevated, personalized shopping experience while supporting daily store operations.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service and Sales
- Assist customers with outfit selection, sizing, and styling suggestions
- Build rapport with customers and create a personalized shopping experience
- Maintain strong product knowledge across brands and collections
- Support sales goals through attentive and proactive service
Front End Operations
- Operate POS system and process transactions accurately
- Assist customers with loyalty accounts and ensure proper customer attachment at checkout
- Maintain efficiency and professionalism during busy periods
Merchandising and Visual Presentation
- Unpack, price, and merchandise incoming fashion and accessory items
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays
- Assist with outfit coordination and floor presentation standards
Department Maintenance
- Keep the department clean, organized, and customer ready at all times
- Replenish stock and maintain size runs on the sales floor
- Support fitting room organization and overall department flow
Scheduling and Availability
- Approximately 3 to 4 shifts per week
- Shifts range from 4 to 8 hours
- Must be available evenings and weekends
- Schedule may vary based on business needs and seasonal demand
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous retail experience preferred fashion experience is an asset
- Experience with a POS system is required
- Experience with Lightspeed R Series is considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Interest in fashion, styling, and customer engagement
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment
- Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented
Reporting Structure
- Reports directly to the Fashion Department Lead
