Ingredients

Unbleached flour made of hard red spring wheat from Quebec (niacin, reduced iron, thiamin, riboflavin, folate), sugar, baking powder (sodium bicarbonate, corn starch, monocalcium phosphate), sodium bicarbonate, salt.
Cinnamon sugar: Sugar, cinnamon.
Contains: Wheat, gluten. May contain traces of dairy or soy.

Preparation Instructions

All you need:

  • Speedy Cinnamon Roll Mix (included)
  • 170.5 g (¾ cup / 1½ sticks) cold unsalted butter, cubed *or non-dairy alternative
  • 2 tbsp additional butter for greasing pan
  • 300 mL (1¼ cup) cream *or 250 mL (1 cup) buttermilk / milk alternative

All you do:

  1. Preheat oven to 200 °C (400 °F). Grease a baking pan with 2 tbsp butter.
  2. In a large bowl, cut cold butter into the dry mix until crumbly.
  3. Gradually add cream (or buttermilk) and mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Turn dough onto a floured surface, roll out, and sprinkle with included cinnamon sugar.
  5. Roll up tightly, slice into rounds, and place in prepared pan.
  6. Bake 20–25 minutes, until golden and fragrant. Cool slightly before glazing.

Bonus: Jo’s Best Cinnamon Roll Glaze

All you need:

  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar, sifted
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp whole milk
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • (Optional) A few blueberries or raspberries for colour

All you do:

  1. Whisk together butter, milk, and vanilla.
  2. Stir into sugar until smooth and glossy.
  3. Keep glaze at room temperature until ready to drizzle.
  4. Before using, whisk again until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls and enjoy!
